Of Astonishments, Birthdays and Charities

A, B, and C.

Lame, I know. But still.

Astonishments, all good, but I won't elaborate on it. I'll just say today I'm happy! =) =) =) 3C!

Birthdays?

Did anyone mention that? Certainly there's been a lot of birthday's in the recent past. And today. Happy Birthday, Xue! Happy Birthday to those in Nov, and those before Dec 14. Happy Birthday to Daniel, Mark, Yiheng, Guan Wei, Ivan, Jian Wei (adv), and Pei Yuan(adv). If I missed out your name, tell me!

Of Charities, today we, meaning the cell's Giordano kids went to help Adrian out at SGB. Wearing red, green, and blue, but all Giordano tees. Really funny. Lucky we grabbed a burger from Macs while waiting for Adrian to pick up the car. After that, we were straight to suntec, where we ran into jam after jam....

After like, an extremely, interminable, inordinate amount of time, we arrived at suntec city towers, having to collect the wish gifts from three locations. Level 14, there was an okay amount of stuff. We took like, half an hour to bring it all down..

At Level 33, there was an immense amount of stuff, like four times the amount. We took hopelessly long to bring it all down. This was compounded by the fact that the security guards didn't feel like being helpful. Ask us to bring here bring there, what clear the walkway, so on and so forth. Really sian. We finally crammed all the stuff in Adrian's van, but that was after a long time, and tons of effort. Daniel and Kai Jie got stuck at level 33 for half an hour, with the rest of the stuff. Slackers. -.-

Then, at Level 25, lucky lucky very little things. But, the officer Andrew dragged me and craig off to the next tower to carry MORE stuff down. well, we lugged and lugged all the stuff down, until FINALLY, we managed to load everything into the vans. And we had the problem of making our way back at taxi. The most drama part of the event.

We had two groups of 4. As the other group had a girl, they had to go first. So the first cab goes by, then the second. All empty, but none of them stopping. The third cab. It stops! We, like nice gentlemen we are, wave it on to the second group. But we and they didn't know that the cab was only going to some place far far away, so they were kinda unhappy, and we were laughing their heads off.

The next cab, was a silver cab, and kia, and therefore deemed too expensive for us to take. So they koped it. And we forgot that we would be reimbursed. Really stupid, as we were in a position to ks them. Sad lar. The next five cabs went by without stopping, and we called Adrian to come.

I got on the phone. Daniel took out his handphone camera. He was snapping photos of us so that we could post them on the cell blog. And so, I had to alternate between talking to Adrian on the phone, and to talk pictures.

Then, it threatened to rain. We didn't want to move, but the primer did. Finally, we moved over to the taxi stand. And we left him standing there as we went to take a look at candy empire, and buy water. We took more pics! Uncharacteristic of me.

Finally, when we reached back HQ, we went to eat. At 4 in afternoon. -.- We ate one plate of hokkien mee each, one and a half plates of carrot cakes, shared of course, and a plate of famous char kway teow. Whee. Full like siao. Adrian treated us to a cup of soya bean milk. Thanks! So we full full, happy happy go home. Talk crap the whole way to the mrt, almost got lost, and so on and so forth. Sang with Christ in the vessel. No idea why we did that. Random, I guess. We must have really been high on laughing.

So well, to J8 and I couldn't find the CDs that I wanted. Really sad. The only sad part of today. Yeah. Overall, its been an enjoyable and exciting day!

Thank God for today! And thank God for putting me in 3C! So many 2Q ppl!
